Indigenous Healing and Wellness

Healing and Wellness Coordinators aim to reduce family violence and improve Aboriginal health by assisting individuals in accessing services. They offer crisis intervention, traditional support, and peer counseling to community members affected by violence. These services are available on a one-to-one basis or in group settings where action plans are created to help participants meet both short-term and long-term goals.
